  This shopping center is great for what it is, a spacious, well lit, pleasant parking lot with access to multiple retailers. Nicely landscaped with trimmed shrubs and mulched beds, covered walkways and loading spots, this center has a suburban slightly upscale feel.

  Town Square Plaza, off Route 100 at the south end of Pottstown, is one of the newer and better filled area strip centers. It's anchored by Loews, Michael's, and PetSmart, but I go there for a good meal at the Longhorn, Chinese eat-in or take-out, and no appointment necessary hair cuts. It's clean, nicely laid out with plenty of parking lot trees, and has a bank and a drugstore in free-standing pad sites. In addition to my haunts there's a much larger list of good tenants, and if you're looking for Wal-Mart, it's roughly two miles north on 100 beyond the junction with 422, and a little bit farther up the way, there's TJ Maxx, Target, and a whole lot more at Upland Square,
