I don't have anything bad to say about this place, the ladies are all friendly and great! Always willing to help in any way they can, prices are fair and even beat out the box stores in a lot of things, ALL the animals are well loved and taken care of. What more can you ask for from a pet store?

After reading the reviews online, I was extremely disappointed by the experience I had here. I did not feel a positive vibe at all from the staff and felt they had a very negative attitude towards me when I asked about a certain dog there. As an animal adoption center, I would expect the staff to take a little more interest in someone who only wants to give a dog a loving, comfortable home. Perhaps it was a simple a breakdown in communication, but it truly made me feel terrible. I only say this because if it were my store and someone felt like this after leaving, I would want to know so I could take proper action to ensure this did not happen in the future.

I had put an application online to adopt a puppy. As a surprise addition to our family! With full disclosure that eventually the puppy would move with my brother at the END OF THE YEAR. The questionaire asks A LOT of questions - no problem with this completely understand the store wants families to realize what they are asking for and taking into their family. This made me very happy they were so on point. Here is where I am infuriated... She calls me maybe 5 minutes after the completed application. I was surprised they reached out so quickly and mentioned this as well. How wonderful I thought!Well she doesn’t care to respond to that. Then she proceeds to ask about my child and my brother whom obviously live with me per the application. She asks the same question do they live with you? I said well yes, my brother 19 does for the time being. She proceeds, well what is that supposed to mean? - with attitude. I explained eventually towards the end of the year he will move away FOR college. Now, at this point she says well we don’t allow puppies to be adopted and given away. I explained that we are a very loving family and that by no means are we giving him away. He is a part of our family however my brother will be taking him with when he moves. She continues to badger me about what experience I have with animals and household very invasive questions some that have ALREADY BEEN WRITTEN DOWN ON THE APPLICATION. As I continue to talk and try and not get upset over the level of attitude and disrespect when speaking to me SHE HANGS UP!!!! In the middle of the conversation! Complete and utter shock! This puppy we wanted to adopt to HELP by no means did my application even remotely permit we were horrible people. All I wanted was to surprise my little brother and son with a new addition to love. Instead of badgering me or automatically saying we were “giving him away” she could have asked a little more detail about the life style and SCENARIO. For instance, my brother whom is CURRENTLY staying with us is planning on moving to be closer to college months down the line, not to live on campus or any of the sort. Him on his own taking some online classes and has always wanted a companion to keep company! We would not have just given him away! We are adults and know that by having him under our household he would be well trained by ALL OF US before hand. Again, I know this is an extremely long review and I can understand checking on the background of families but this just went too far. The company as a whole should be asking more questions to people’s story and WHY they want the pet before automatically making up accusations and assuming the worst in people. The world is a cruel place and some of us just want to do some good!
